Massive portions of food. Worth a visit.

The Lobewein inn in Ellmau is now part of our standard program for our visits to Tyrol. The dishes are down-to-earth and very good. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable.It is particularly noteworthy that we were served quickly and always in a friendly manner, even with the greatest number of visitors. The staff is well organized and has the shop under control. But it always counts the behavior of the guest, because the service staff also deserves respect. And of course, even the best waiter is not immune to unpleasant, nagging guests.The interior of the restaurant offers a rustic, homely Tyrolean atmosphere with lots of wood.There is a large terrace outside. The sanitary facilities are clean and impeccable. A reservation is usually not necessary, except maybe at Christmas or New Year's Eve.The Gasthaus Lobewein remains the top address for good Tyrolean food of the same quality.

Very good Austrian food and huge portions. Reasonably priced, English menu, good kids menu. The only downside is that not everyone's food is always brought out together.

We recommend!! Excellent food (mushroom goulash with dumplings, schnitzel with fries and a children's portion of fries with nuggets) that was served super quickly at the table by extremely friendly staff. Any time!

Delicious and quick.

Large portions, efficient service. I ordered a herring here with young landowners and a wrow. Wateobka was as it should, tasty and juicy. It was difficult to eat whole portions :-). In turn, the herring came behind the salty, and the beer came in a glass with the lipstick of the previous drinker. Or drinking. In Austria. In Ellmau where doctor Gruber is treating! Fe.One star less.

There is a very large selection of local specialties at reasonable prices. The service is very attentive and there were always enough staff on duty. So we did not have to wait much longer despite the full restaurant. The staff were very friendly overall.Also all dishes during our visits were always very good and more than adequate.Gladly again and again when we are in Ellmau again.

Food was ok-good. But rarely experienced such extremely unfriendly waiters. You sit closely together table to table. Unfortunately, some mistakes were made when ordering. Wouldn't recommend it. There are significantly better restaurants in Ellmau.

Really really delicious. Very cozy and the prices are right. The staff is very friendly and even when it is very busy they master every situation. We have been there many times (on every ski holiday) and will be happy to come back.

First visit was good, so we came back for more. Unfortunately I became very sick after eating the Lasagne from their menu.

Eat very delicious. In the inn easily 150 people go into it. The waiters but everything under control and the service works great. We will gladly come again.

This place is (much) larger than it looks from the outside, but keeps its charming atmosphere as it's made up from several smaller tooms. Friendly service, sometimes takes a little longer when the place was obviously busy. Meat dishes here are much recommended - try the 2p mixed grill especially! Pizza's were not as tasty, but we came back twice the same week for the grill specialties.
